Job Description

About the position: 

St Peter’s College is inviting applications for a permanent full-time Agriculture Teacher to join the Senior School Science Faculty, commencing in Term 3, 2026.

Teachers in our Senior School are committed to fostering engaging and inclusive learning environments where all students can thrive. As a leading ELC to Year 12 school, St Peter’s College supports students from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of abilities, and is recognised for excellence in both academic and co-curricular programs.

We are seeking an enthusiastic educator with a passion for Agriculture and experiential learning. If you enjoy working in a vineyard and are excited by the many practical, hands-on opportunities the role offers, we would welcome your application.

The primary teaching responsibility will be Agriculture across Years 10–12, with scope to contribute to Agriculture programs in the Middle Years in the years ahead.

Desired Skills and Experience

As the successful applicant you will:

  • Have a willingness to support the School’s values and Anglican ethos.
  • Hold relevant teaching qualifications.
  • Have experience teaching Agriculture at a Senior School level. 
  • Willingness to contribute to the co-curricular program.  
  • Have a South Australian Teachers Registration and Working with Children Check.
  • Provide evidence of completed training in Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education and Care, and First Aid.
