Job Description
About the position:
St Peter's College is currently seeking to appoint two Health and Physical Education Senior School Teachers to begin at the commencement of Semester 2, 2024. Both positions are fixed-term, 0.7FTE until the end of the 2024 school year.
Teaching staff at St Peter's College are a critical component in achieving the School's Vision and Values, and the Strategic Plan. By operating with the highest standards of integrity, professionalism and diligence they will ensure that a highly supportive and collaborative culture is promoted across the School. A teacher who creates a positive learning environment, that nurtures and fulfils the potential of all students, will enable all learners to strive and achieve their best.
Have a willingness to support the School’s values and Anglican ethos.
Hold relevant teaching qualifications.
Have experience in teaching Health and Physical Education at Senior School level.
Willingness to contribute to the co-curricular program and act as a Mentor in the House pastoral Care Program.
Have a South Australian Teachers Registration and Working with Children Check.
Provide evidence of completed training in Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education and Care, and First Aid.
