Job Description
About the position:
St Peter’s College is currently seeking to appoint a Graduate Teacher to join our Senior School as part of our 2026 Graduate Program.
This is a 12-month contract position, commencing at the beginning of the 2026 School year. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to being their teaching career in a supportive and dynamic learning environment, working alongside experienced educators committed to excellence in teaching and learning.
The Senior School Graduate Teacher will include a 0.7 FTE Teaching (0.3FTE relief/replacement teaching and 0.4 FTE assigned lessons), 0.1 FTE Professional Development (Team Teaching and Research) and 0.2 FTE involvement in co-curricular activity.
Have a willingness to support the School’s values and Anglican ethos.
Hold relevant teaching qualifications.
Willingness to contribute to the co-curricular program and act as a Mentor in the House pastoral care program.
Have a South Australian Teachers Registration and Working with Children Check.
Provide evidence of completed training in responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) – Fundamentals & Masterclass, and First Aid.
